How to Get Started with Algo Trading?

If you are new to Algo Trading and do not know how to get started, do not worry! Keep reading this article and explore. 

You require the following to set up for Algo trading using APIBridge. 

1. A charting platform, TradingView, Amibroker, MT4/MT5, Excel, Python, or any other. 

2. APIBridge Subscription; Paper trading is free 

3. Broker Account (Not required for Paper Trading) 

Let’s get into the details below: 

APIBridge is your Algo Terminal which enables you to algo trade with multiple charting platforms like Tradingview, Amibroker, Meta Trader 4, and others. 

You can deploy your custom strategies on the chart and customize your settings on APIBridge to allow automated trades on your Broker Account which can be depicted from the diagram below:

1. Charting Platform: APIBridge, as the name suggests, is a Bridge that connects a charting platform to the Broker (that is integrated with APIBridge).  
 
You require a charting platform or a signal source to put your strategy and generate automatic signals that will be sent to APIBridge in a pre-specified format, please read the Signal Protocol here.

2. APIBridge Subscription: If you are new to the industry and do not wish to put money during the learning phase, APIBridge is the right platform for you to get started with Algo Trading.

Once you have signed up, you can download APIBridge from here.
