A template is the complete “set of settings” from APIBridge. Templates contains Symbol settings, Entry ,Exit and Square off time from UI Settings, API credentials and Signal Settings.

You can add notes about each template by clicking Edit (for future reference). If any notes are available, you can see them by clicking on information button.

Default

Three Templates will be available in APIBridge. JumpStart, Advanced, Positional.

JumpStart Template is your first template to test drive system trading through APIBridge. No signal rules or risk management rules are applied in this template. You will see two symbols in Symbol Settings – SBIN and BANKNIFTY-I.

Advanced Template let you explore full features of APIBridge. It shows all columns in Symbol Settings. It also has all Signal Rules applied, as well as few risk management rules.

Positional Template has set of rules which may work for positional traders.

If you are updating from an old version of APIBridge, you existing settings are migrated to MyCustom Template.

Creating new template

• Click on Save As at the right side of the template selector. Which will copy App Settings and UI Settings to a new template.
• On prompt give a new name and description and click on save.
• After this make changes and click on Save Configuration at the top or press Ctrl + S.

Editing a template

You can edit every object of App Settings, UI Settings and SignalSettings after selecting a template. Just remember to Save Configuration before switching templates. By Clicking on edit right side of template selection. 

Deleting a template

First Load the Template which you want to delete. Then click on Yes on prompt.

Restoring Settings
